A very good+++/near fine hardcover copy in a good jacket/brodart covered. First Edition, 2nd printing. Copy is very tight, no bumped corners. Some off setting on front end paper due to a Western Union Telegram laid in from E P (Slip Madigan; Coach St. Mary's College, CA. who played for Univ. of Notre Dame. Telegram is to The Chicago Herald Examiner in which he considers no one more qualified to write the story of Rockne life than Warren Brown. Dustjacket/brodart covered has rubbing to bottom and top edges as well as the folds of the jacket. Chips to all four corner folds and small nicks and tears to edges and folds.
