A very good plus and very tight hardcover copy. First Edition printed in English. 3 plates, first plate is missing it's tissue guard. Foxing to title page and the usual foxing throughout, beginning of text and edges. Lower corner of rear board is rubbed through the cloth. Gold gilt lettering to spine is bright. Corners are sharp. A much nicer copy than usual. The most important source on the Astor Adventure. Original binding, very small owner's bookplate.
