A very good and tight hardcover copy in original binding. FIRST EDITION. ELEVEN HAND COLORED AQUATINT PLATES WITH TISSUE GUARDS. Spine has been rebacked, preserving the the original spine. Corners slightly curled with rubbing to cloth corners. Otherwise, a very decent copy in it's original binding. Housed in a folding chemise and slip case.
Two book plates, one is very small and appears on the front inside board, Alfred Barmore Maclay (1871-1944) American Equestrian. The Other belongs to H. W. Selby Lowndess (1813-1885) English Sportsman.
