A very good and tight two volume set of this classic Polish novel, translated by Helen Stankiewicz Zand. Originally Issued as: POPIOLY, 1925 by the Author. First American Edition, 1928. No bumped corners to books. Spine tips are smooth and round. No cracked hinges. No signatures. Woven cloth boards are toned. No jackets. From their appearance, I do not think they were issued with jackets. A very decent set of this scarce Polish Novel. [See all Pict's].
